MI-WI

MI-WI (Mitech-Wireless) system is an extension of the Mitech Base system. MI-WI system uses wireless and internet technologies to provide full system access and control over the internet.

The MI-WI extension is composed of two logical components: the Local Wireless Network and the Remote Access feature

::Local Wireless Network

In the wireless system, the MCUs and the AVC are equipped with wireless technologies and communicate wirelessly with a central hub. Whether the hub is a standalone unit or is embedded into the AVC strongly depends on the location of the AVC relative to the machines. In the simplest laundry scenario, where the AVC is in the same room as or close to the machines, the hub is embedded into the AVC. But in a more complex scenario, where the AVC might be located in a different room or even a different floor from the machines, the hub exists as a standalone unit.

::Remote Access

Although we offer solutions where you would pull system data from the hub onsite, the power of the Local Wireless Network is truly harnessed if you are able to connect to the hub remotely. The Remote Access component of the MI-WI system is reposonsible for just this.

A secondary type of wireless device, the likes of those inside present-day cell phones, is the main enabler of this feature. This device enables remote communication with the system through the internet.

5. Credit/Debit Card Payment Systems

The MI-WI system is an excellent complement to a Credit/debit Card payment solution. Since a Credit/debit card payment solution requires a remote connection (to access the card processor), and since in the MI-WI system the medium for a remote connection already exists, the extra cost of a Credit/debit Card solution is significantly reduced.

6. Advanced Price Control

MI-portal allows you to control system prices based on the time of day. This capability allows you to better operate your system by offering price incentives for using the system in off-peak hours. This feature becomes especially valuable if your utility has a variable price structure.
